  • Card details, like the card number, expiry date and CVV, are never revealed, even to the merchant. 

  • When you make a purchase the digital card passes a unique code to the merchant to process the payment. Your personal information remains secure. 

  • For transactions over $100, you may need to enter your card PIN at the payment terminal, for added security. 

  • Digital wallets have age restrictions to prevent children adding a card to a smartphone or device. Children must be over 13 years old to use Apple Pay and 16 years old for Google Pay. 

  • It is important to keep your device safe with passcodes, PINs, fingerprint or facial recognition. Never share this information with anyone.
