Before You Start
To be eligible to apply online you need to be:
16 years of age or older;
an Australian Citizen; and
the holder of a valid Australian Driver’s Licence
If you are not eligible to apply online, please give us a call on 08 8088 2199 between 9:30am - 4:00pm Monday, 9:30am - 5:00pm Tuesday to Friday for help.

Opening a Transaction Account linked to your Visa Debit Card. Please read the Conditions of Use, Summary of Accounts and Fees and Charges schedule to consider whether the product is appropriate for you before making any decisions.
Broken Hill Bank issuing you a Visa Debit Card to access your account.

The law requires us to verify your identity when you open an account or the identity of any person you appoint as a signatory to your account.
In most cases you can prove your identity by providing us copies of any of the following photo identity documents:
Australian Drivers Licence or
Australian Passport and Medicare Card
