To be eligible to apply online you need to be:

  • 16 years of age or older;

  • an Australian Citizen; and

  • the holder of a current Driver’s Licence

If you are not eligible to apply online, please give us a call on 08 8088 2199 between 9:30am - 4:00pm Monday, 9:30am - 5:00pm Tuesday to Friday for help.

Submitting your application
Send the information securely to one of our friendly staff by selecting the 'submit' button at the end of the application.

Ensure you have the correct identification documents 
The law requires us to verify your identity when you open an account or the identity of any person you appoint as a signatory to your account.
In most cases you can prove your identity by providing us CERTIFIED copies of any of the following photo identity documents:

  •  a Photo card (NSW only)

  •  a State or Territory drivers licence or proof of age card (both sides)

  •  a photo drivers licence issued by a foreign government;

  •  a national ID card, with photo and signature, issued by a foreign government, the United Nations or a UN agency.

Note: Where a foreign government issued document is used, residency must also be established through the sighting of a current resident or working visa.

If you do not have photo ID you may provide CERTIFIED copies of the following - 

  • Passport (Australian or Foreign) AND

  • Utility bill, council rates notice or rental agreement

The law does not allow you to open an account using an alias without you also giving us all the other names that you are commonly known by.

If you want to appoint a signatory to your account, the signatory will also have to provide proof of identity, as above
