Spoofed Calls Pretending to be
Broken Hill Bank

We have received reports of scammers making phone calls that display our official phone number, even though the call is not from us. This is known as number spoofing and is commonly used by scammers to gain trust.

What you need to know:

• We will never ask you to confirm sensitive information unexpectedly.

• If something doesn’t seem right, hang up immediately.

• Do not tap “call back” on a suspicious missed call — instead, dial our number manually: 08 8088 2199.

• Report any suspicious contact to us so we can investigate.
